The patented control system for the mill, u'Select, allows you to easily grind the peppercorns to the desired size. 

The mill features a finely tuned mill developed by Peugeot to ensure perfect grinding of salts and aromatic blends from around the world. Each tooth in the mechanism is precision-engineered to allow tooth-to-tooth contact. It is the combination of Peugeot engineering, the mill's groundbreaking material and its exceptional hardness that gives it its unique performance – and enables an extra fine, powdered grinding of the salt.  The mill is available in a wide range of materials and colours.

For the first time in the world, Peugeot has manufactured its new salt mill in Zirconia, which not only provides an even more precise and uniform grinding, but also the ability to grind salt to a very fine powder. The exceptional hardness of the material and its high resistance to abrasion are at the heart of the Zirlion mechanism's performance. Its hardness allows tooth-to-tooth contact without wear, ensuring an extremely fine grinding of the salt. Zirconia is a mineral extracted from zircon sand and enriched with yttrium oxide. The material has unrivaled properties such as its exceptional hardness (harder than traditional ceramics and steel) and its resistance to corrosion.

The u'Select system offers six grinding degrees, from very fine (1) to coarse (6), giving you full control over the grinding structure for all your culinary needs. Adjustment is made easily by turning the bottom between the grinding degrees, ensuring precise and consistent grinding every time.
